Day 1 : Marrakech -> High Atlas Mountains –> Ait Ben Haddou -> Ouarzazate -> Dades Valley

The Merzouga Desert Trip will start by traveling through the Tizi N Tichka pass of the High Atlas Mountains, we will get to Ait Ben Haddou (2260m), the magnificent Berber towns, and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. This is also where many legendary movies have taken place. We will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou hamlet, the fortified ksar with its lovely Kasbahs.

We will continue by crossing Skoura, and the Valley of Roses (the best season of roses is in late May).

After arriving in Boumalne Dades, our destination is Dades Gorges. From here you can appreciate a spectacular panorama along the Dades River, counting the Monkey Feet rock formations, and fortified Kasbahs, as well as the stunning sunset. After we continue to our hotel where we have supper and spend the night.

Day 2: Dades Valley -> Todra Gorge -> Erfoud -> Rissani -> Camel riding and stay overnight in Desert Camp

After breakfast, your chauffeur will accompany you on another amazing adventure to Erg Chebbi, commonly known as Merzouga, one of Morocco’s most popular desert sites. You will make a halt in the Todgha Gorges, where you can stroll and explore with a local guide in the palmary or between the 300-meter-high cliffs. The canyons are a climbing hotspot, and you can have the opportunity to interact with the nomad families who draw water from the springs.

Before entering the desert, you will travel to Erfoud. There, you will leave your car and ride camels to reach your tent. This is a wonderful tourist activity that will help you see the sunset.

Day 3 : Merzouga desert–> Ouarzazate –> Marrakech

To experience a spectacular sunrise today, we will rise early and travel to the highest dune. This is an absolute must-do activity in the Sahara Desert! Following the sunrise, we will return to camp, eat breakfast, and then go to Merzouga by camel-back. We will travel to Ouarzazate on our way back to Marrakech on asphalt. We will have some free time in Ouarzazate so that we can eat lunch and take some photos in front of the well-known Taourirt Kasbah. We will then travel to Marrakech and drop you off at your hotel.
