DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – TELOUET – OUARZAZATE
The early morning desert excursion begins after breakfast. Visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui near Telouet after leaving the High Atlas Mountains over the TiziNtichka Pass, which rises to 2,260 m (lunch in the place). afternoon, routes across the Berber-populated Ounila valley to Ait Ben Haddou. Proceed to Ouarzazate. Dinner and a hotel
DAY 2 : OUARZAZATE – SKOURA – KELAA MGOUNA – ROSES VALLEY – DADES GORGES – TOUDRA GORGES:
A quick 20-minute visit to the Amredhyle Kasbah, one of the wonders of the southern circuit of the thousand kasbahs, will be visited before leaving Ouarzazate around 8:30 am. We will continue into the Valley of the Roses, crossing 50 km of off-road landscape on valley paths.
The Ait Youl Kasbah. Before moving on to Boulmane, we will have lunch on the Dades Gorges before traveling 20 kilometers to Tinghir and taking in the stunning view of the Toudra canyon Canyons. Dinner and a hotel.
DAY 3 : GORGES DE TOUDRA – TINJDAD – TOUROUG – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA:
Walk around the Tinerghir Palm Plantations in the morning. Before arriving in Erfoud town to see a local fossil craft workshop, we will drive to Tinjedad for lunch and a visit to the Touroug Palm Plantations.
Continue on to The Dunes of Merzouga, the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi. We then swap to camels instead of our 44s, and you will be taken on a camel ride across the dunes to admire the sun set over the sand dunes before spending the night in a real nomadic bivouac. Dinner and an overnight stay in a tent.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – KHAMLIA – TAOUZ – OUZINA – RAMLIA –MHARCH:
Return on camels to the heart of the dune area early in the morning to take in the sunrise.
After breakfast, depart for Khamlia (the Gnaoua village that plays music in the desert), stopping for tea and meeting at the home of a Gnaoua before continuing on to Taouz, then descending Ziz Wadi by the Paris-Dakar route, passing by the small village of Ouzina (where lunch will be served) and Ramlia. After Ramlia, cross the very sandy wadi Rheris, Dinner, and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 : M’HARCH – ZAGORA:
After breakfast, go to Zagora via the Paris-Dakar route while passing through desert plates, hamadas, and nomads in tents. Dinner and a night’s stay in a hotel in Zagora
DAY 6 : ZAGORA – TAMGROUTE – MHAMID – CHEGAGA:
After breakfast, head for Tamegroute, stopping along the way to see Zaoua, the ancient Koranic library, potters, and a Kasbah underground. Then one continues on to Mhamid for lunch there. In the late afternoon, we will follow a trail that leads to the Cheguagua dunes, where we will observe the sunset and spend the night in a bivouac. Dinner and an overnight stay in a tent.
DAY 7 : CHEGAGA – FOUM ZGUIT – TAZNAKHTE – OUARZAZATE:
Get up early to witness the dawn over the sand dunes. After breakfast, travel for Foum Zguit while passing by tent-dwelling nomads, the iriqui dry lake, and desert plates covered in a Kassia plant (Picnic for lunch in the place). Continue through Taznakhte to Ouarzazate. Dinner and a hotel stay.
DAY 8 : OUARZAZATE – KASBAH OF TAOURIRT – MARRAKECH:
Following breakfast, head for a tour of Ouarzazate, Taourirt Kasbah, and the Cinema Studio. Then after, cross the Tizi-in-Tichka pass via the High Atlas Mountains to get to Marrakech. Most of the year, the range’s peaks are covered in snow. On the winding roads that pass past Berber communities, take in the splendor of the enduring scenery. Reaching Marrakesh, the tour’s last destination.
